Subject: RE: Liberty link soybeans

South Central MN
I had all LL beans here, all but one field was the cleanest I have had in a few years. Best is to start out with a very strong pre-emerge system to keep the weeds that come up to a minimum, and hope they can get sprayed at a good time. We had a very wet June here as well, only field that struggled didn't get a pre (started raining before they could get it) and had a bunch of lambsquarter. Liberty will toast a tall one (1.5ft.) but they can come back if the bottom branch isn't hit hard enough.
Going with LLGT27 beans this year to try to avoid that issue, also more options when trying to keep boundary lines clean.

Here the LLGT27 beans are maybe $1-3 more than LL with another chemical option... Would prefer Enlist beans but not betting on them being approved by time the planter rolls.
