Subject: RE: Liberty link soybeans

We've been LL beans for 4 years, most of my beans for this year will be G27s. Purchased from Merschmans at same cost as straight LL beans. We've not seen any yield dropoff with LL beans. Like mentioned, running plenty of water, we use 20gpa. Last year ran 38oz Liberty per sc, wouldn't run any less. We do use a pre and add a residual to the Liberty as well as a grass killer for any volunteer corn.I know it's recommended to spray only on clear days, start around 10am & quit before sundown. That's not always possible, maybe we've been lucky and haven't had issues when we didn't follow those guidelines. Only respray I did last year was where water stood, most of those places we had to replant as well. Did have a few late velvet leaf come in on a couple fields that were 30" rows, didn't see any in the 15" tows.
