Central Iowa		+1 on the lexan that way it blocks everything. Looking through expanded steel every time i use the loader would give me headaches especially at night.
It's most important to keep the front curtain in good shape and make sure its thick rubber. If rocks are going through it in the first place thats where I'd start.
