SCWisconsin | Red Balls or Wilgers, or whatever brand 'floaters' there are, believe it or not, are pretty darn accurate. If they are level across the board, GPA is even. I didn't say they tell you GPA, just that application is accurate across the board. Several years ago I placed cameras on Red Balls to save my neck, to reduce jogs in my cornrows due to my nervous twitch looking back. A LOT easier just looking off at the camera screen in the cab.
John Blue pumps, or other PD pumps are very accurate regarding GPA. (& simple). I have also found that Raven systems are very accurate, (centrifugal pump with in line flow meter) but a little more temperamental from year to year. (just more components: Radar accuracy, flow meter condition, electrical connections, etc). But they work good too. | |
