Subject: RE: Corded 4.5 or 5" grinder

I own a Craftsman as well. Bought it 20 some-odd years ago and it keeps on going. My biggest complaint is the tool needed to change the wheels. It is an inconvenience to use, and you have the risk of losing it. I usually just put it in my pocket, or put a piece of tape over it.

The only thing I have had to fix is the cord. It's pretty much nothing but electrical tape now. It didn't last long.

I love my cordless drill, but if I am grinding something, or going to be putting it through something strenuous, I grab the corded one first. I feel like the power for something like that just isn't there with cordless models.
