Your best pricing will be during a farm show (Fort Wayne Farm Show this week, National Farm Machinery Show in February) or the week after a farm show. Right now that price is $1800 for 5-channel SMART3 remote which allows the express mode operation (press once and it opens or closes automatically). Based on your location of Northeast Indiana, you should have a lot of local dealers in your area that will offer you that same farm show price during the show. Each dealer will have their own installation rate and that can vary from $350-600 depending on the dealer...but installing it yourself isn't too bad either. Looking at a couple of people taking about 4-5 hours if you've never done one before. I suggest getting from a local dealer in case you ever need support or parts in the future. The Shur-Co website has a dealer locator that can point you to someone near you.

In response to one of the other posts on circuit protection, Shur-Co systems are fully protected with a circuit breaker and internal electronics that are designed to protect the motor. The circuit breaker is supposed to be installed at the battery and the Shur-Co kit comes with all necessary wiring.

*Full disclosure, I work for Shur-Co. This isn't designed to be a commercial post or one intended to market the product, just trying to answer the question asked by the original poster.
