Just make sure whatever u do you have a easy way to put the crank back on. Last week our motor burned up and quit working. So I had to go find the gear for the crank and weld it back on and put the crank back on and disconnect the motor drive assembly while we finished our corn delivery. Good thing is it quit when it was all the way open so we could get probed and get back home. Also discovered the system is not fused. Wires got hot and melted and will have to be replaced. They r great when they work but will shut u down when they quit working.
That is the great thing about electricity
It works great till a wire breaks |
