KS | I would recommend not streaming the UAN on the growing crop. No question that it grows new leaves to cover up the damage but why destroy any of the leaf tissue on purpose? I would recommend that you just get your nitrogen on right before the milo emerges. Given that the crop moves very fast as the season progresses, the nitrogen should stay in the system that way. If you have results that demonstrate that the side dressing is giving you more yield, I would encourage you to use urea for the in crop nitrogen. | |
