After I baled some haygrazer planted on 10" spacing this summer I streamed on some N using TeeJet SJ3 nozzles. The regrowth was about 6-8" tall when I did it. I got some leaf burn which I partially attribute to it being windier than I would have liked when I did it but within 10 days there was no sign of it.
Milo fertilizer question.
