Yup, a gift, not a purchase. I wrote faster than I thought.

Since it bothers him either outcome, it’s hard for him to explain it clearer I’m sure, start wondering if a person shoulda said anything.... might not make sense, but it does.

So do you honor the old fella and the gun and those memories, or do you honor the friend?
