Central, NC | I do custom spraying/ spreading for a lot of smaller farmers. Mainly do pastures and hayfields. Also a lot of row crop and specialty crops around as well. Since I'm doing custom work already. Thinking of trying to sell some chemicals on the side. Know lots of farmers in the area. My business has been established for a while so I have some relationships built. Would like to start small with generic stuff that a lot people use (Glyphosate, 24-D, pasture chemicals, etc.) and see where that goes. I'm thinking I'd need a dealer's license to get started. Would like to get set up with a company to purchase from. I like helping the farmers out to make a crop. Just feel like I'm leaving money on the table. Looking for thoughts, opinions? | |
