I use dry and premixed it in a pail. 1/4 isnt very much. I use a pound with no carryover issues. Not sure I'd bother with a 1/4. As for sprayer problems? Yes it will settle and cause you misery. I broke a boom with a half a tank. Fixed the boom the next morning. Spray sat for about 15 hours. It plugged everything.
