WY, OK | Need to do it right next time. First: only ONE band. Second: you should have given toxoid when you banded not antitoxin, antitoxin is an immediate answer to tetanus, the toxoid is like a vaccine against it. Once they have Tetanus then you give a bunch of antitoxin and a big slug of antibiotics.
If banding I feel slitting the bag at the same time would be best to let it dry out as soon as possible unless of course it is a muddy mess. | |
