Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | Todd, For the first time this winter we missed most of the storm. Seems like we were getting hit with every one that came through. Had maybe an inch here. We're hoping we can pick some corn next week if the ground will freeze enough at night.
Most guys around here are saying their cows are 100 pounds lighter this winter from having poor grazing on stalks to the cold, wet weather and having to walk around in the mud most of the time. Their getting concerned about weak calves eventually. |
