Subject: RE: 9500 vs 9510 sidehill combine

Southern Pa.
9500 will have the 7.6L engine. 9510 will have the 8.1L. The corner post display is slightly different on the 10 series, includes a readout for concave clearance instead of the analog type deal outside the side window on the 00 series. 10 series will have lights in the sieve area, which is a nice feature if adjustments are needed after dark. Rear work lights were standard on the 10 series as well. The 10 series also had a nicer system for adjusting the sieves, precleaner, etc., IIRC. Just some features that make the 10 series a little nicer, but no huge differences. I may have missed a couple of the upgrades, but I think I covered most of them.

Nothing wrong with a late 00 series, IMO.

Edited to add. IIRC, Greenstar Y&M monitor became a factory option with the 10 series. Maybe it was available in the last year ('97) 00 series??? Personally, I like Agleader better anyway. Sidehill was not available in the 00 series until '93. Contour master became available in '95.
