Since we have almost 1 billion bu of bean carryover and 1.7 billion or so on corn, that fundamental news means nothing. JP talks about forks, so does others. This is not the 1980's and we still don't have high interest rates. Those that cash rent may be overpaying in this environment to landowners, if you own your ground I see no difficulties in this environment. JD dealers lot that was overflowing is now very current and even the owner told me that he wonders where all the money is coming from. Land is still holding its price. Maybe Trump gets a deal done, maybe he doesn't. All the gloom and doom you impart still does not explain bean prices where they are with this number on carryover. | |
