Thank you everyone sounds like harbor freight is where I'm headed. Next question I should have asked tip size? Looks like a lot of 1.4 tips will this work for primer as well?
I personally like a 1.5-1.7 .
The purple gun is the Gravity gun .
I painted with SATA guns 20 plus years , just not worth the cost .
My absolute favorite is the Matco tools branded gun , it will outlast
20 of the purple HF guns .
But wait until you get some experience with the others .
No need for a 250$ gun right now . I use them because they last so
Long .
I do use the purple guns for primer , and have painted a bunch of
Topcoats with them .
It’s 99.5 % experience.5% gun .
Read the sheets and paint cans , measure all chemicals in the mix .
Also U tube can help .
Taught a bunch of guys at work how to paint , and both my boys were pretty good
In their early teens .
It’s not hard to learn . Experience is the best teacher .
And don’t try to paint in 30 degrees, warmer the better . Especially when you
Are learning.
