McCanna, ND | a harbor freight purple gun will be plenty good if its adjusted right, one of the few things I will buy from there. For nice stuff figure out what paint system your going to use. I used epoxy primer for the first time this week and it seems like the way to go since it seals out moisture/air better then other primers. For paint there is alky, acrylic, and urethane. Van sickle stuff is alky and I only have used it on farm equipment that's dirty all the time anyways and is low cost stuff. Acrylic is a step up and urethane is the next step up. Id be interested in hearing what responses you get for the red paint, I have a versatile or two that needs paint since they have faded to pink. | |
