Minnesota/Kentucky fertility based on ENERGY | Dave in Minnesota through the Minnesota Department of Ag and U of M has a program from aiding young farmers and they have gone far as getting the state tax folks to give a tax credit of 10% if it's not a family member (Mom, Dad, Siblings, Grandparents), I would think that U of W RiverFalls would help or Stevens Point would have some help? Our son has looked at groups like Landstewrtship project in Minnesota but as he told me one night on our trip home from the field which is 2 hours he did like the political agenda they have that we need 2 cows, a chicken, and 80 acres, last time he checked we live in a free county which gives us the right to farm 2 acres or 2 million acres. Good luck and Bless you for looking at this type of way to pass on the farm to our younger generation |
