Local CBS affiliate reported tonight with the government shutdown and not having crop statistics farms will be unable to plan for the next growing season and the next growing season will be ruined. Report went on to say if the shutdown continues for 3 more weeks it will drastically affect the next growing season.
Apparently I’ve been going about my crop rotation all wrong.
Unable to plan.... I already have all my dry fert, my anhydrous, soybeans, and sunflowers purchased. And all my wheat is sitting in the bin just waiting to be cleaned. Also have the diesel fuel tanks sitting full in the yard waiting for spring. All acres already planned.
