Dog food for the most part is you get what you pay for. You can see the results of a poor dog food in your back yard and your dogs coat. Intake of a high quality food will be lower also.
A lot of skin/scratching issues are from lower quality proteins that contain high levels of histamines. Rancid proteins are another issue with low end products.
Petfood as a whole has improved greatly in the last 10 years and in several cases surpasses human food. | |
