Well I wouldn't want to talk you into a bad idea, and I probably depends on the kinda planter you have. But a couple years ago the no-till ground I farm had some tile relocated because of a wetlands project.

There were tracks, filled in ditchs, there were tracks in the other end of field from a school bus that had run off the road in the winter, it was muddy and the pulled the bus out through the field.

Not wanting to screw up my no-till experiment, I let Mother Nature do her thing. I was relatively surprised after emergence how good things actually worked.
There again it was just a 40 acre field.

I thought you were ready to give up on your notill experiment. you should be over the three year lag and so .... are starting to see the magic?
