Subject: RE: Ultrasounding cows

NE kansas
Every vet I have ever talked to encourages young vets to scan, mainly to save their arm. some have said if it wasn't for ultrasound they would have had to stop pregging years before. Might not be $ feasible for 50 cows a year at $3000 + for a good set up but they will keep coming down in price and more user-friendly. I am sending my daughter to Graham school this summer, they will get to use a couple different ultrasound machines in training. I do palpate but would like to be able to sex and confirm sooner.
