N.E. MT
We have a reproscan. It was 9k in 2011. Haven’t regretted buying it for our operation. They are probably much cheaper now but ours has paid back very well for us. Pretty easy to learn how to do. We can test/mouth right at 1,000 in a day with just our small crew. Could easily do more if they were all young cows. Have tested 24k head since we got it our vet charged 3$/hd plus miles and a chute charge. It made it feasible for us to buy our own silencer as well. It was also nearly impossible to get dates with the best two vets around. Had to know 3-4 months ahead of time when you were going to test. The convenience factor is a huge plus for us.
