I am curious as to which frame you use and you say you only get about a year out of them. Do you break them from abuse or do the lenses get messed up. I have a appointment to go get my eyes checked and know I will at least need to get new lenses. I have had the ones I am wearing for probably five years or better but they were expensive getting them from my eye doctor. I see Zenni offers a similar Titanium wire framed model. I called and asked and they only have the plastic lenses and I have been using the glass lenses that haven't seemed to get scratched up with all the dirt and grit from farm work and the shop work I do. https://www.zennioptical.com/p/titanium-rectangle-eyeglass-frames-/1375?skuId=137516

this is what i get. with bifocal polycarb lenses, about $80.00
the frames last good. usually lens get scratched up from working in dust and blowing grit. i try and clean using the special cloth, but still seems like a year is about the max for them. still beats $400 from local eye doc. those dont last much better.

glass lens dont scratch as easy, but will pit from grinding or welding sparks.

not sure if you can get glass lens anymore outside of safety glasses
