Driftless SW Wisconsin

Maybe it's the more open environment in ND compared to my small operation, but I've found just the opposite. The more sheeting, the smoother and calm the cattle work.  I even worked with my For-Most dealer to exchange my pipe No-Backs in the alley for For-Most's solid sheeted horizontal sliding doors.  The next cow in line in the alley stays a lot calmer not watching the vet's backside as he preg checks her buddy up ahead.  I also put plywood on some pipe gates.  I think Dr Temple Grandin recommends sheeted and limited sight lines in all her designs.
