Some great vintage elevator shots there. I was fortunate to live through the wooden elevator era. Watched a couple being built and several being demolished. Also watched one burn to the ground in 1990. It was actually a good time to be farming.
I have a video of the first one being demolished here in 1988. It was a small old one and we never dreamed that not too many years later they would all be gone as well as the rail line that had been there since 1905.
