SW “Ohia”
Hello All,
I recently came across this site that details the history of the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool cooperative. There are also a lot of very good photos of farm scenes and old wooden elevators being operated. The “demolition” tab includes some interesting photos of elevators being relocated down the road.
The POOL logo has always been one of my favorite. It’s simple and clear.
I’ve attached some of the photos I really like. The crawler pulling the four wooden wagons into the elevator is neat! For those who farm in the region, what general era would each of these photos been taken?
