SW Ohio | It depends some on your tillage program and your terrain. In my hills I want no part of dragging a knife through the rows, it will wash into a giant rut by next spring. I'm 100% no till and coulter injection works well for me. Yes it will splatter if you run high pressure and if your nozzles aren't aimed 1000% correctly, but the splatter is no different than Y drops leaving it on top of the ground. When its dusty while side dressing you would be amazed how little splatter it takes to make it look like you hosed the machine down in UAN. I'm not a fan of leaving it on top of the ground, even with stabilizer. | |
