JD4930, thanks for you're reply. The harvesters that I've seen have auctions in 2018 were all older guys, but I'm not questioning that some have sold because it is so very hard to do, keeping up with everything. Permits, help, etc. I won't need so much on the help side of things, even tho I'm single, when I get married I think we could do it. I know of a couple husband & wife teams. And as for the size of job, I am willing to take the jobs that the big harvesters don't. I've actually done really well locally taking jobs nobody else wants.
