If you are going to start small and grow into it, hutches would probably be your most flexible and easiest to expand. I know they arent for everyone, there are some really nice calf barns out there too but i hve 54 hutches and i dont think they can be beat as far as health goes. They can take alot of labor though i wont argue that.
