| We were out taking soil samples in a field of corn that had been harvested the previous fall, so it was full of stalks. I had my dog out there running around as always, and I didn't pay him no mind as he had done it lots of times before. All of a sudden I hear a sound from him I didn't recognize. When I looked up, he was looking at me with a face as if to say "What are you looking at? I didn't do anything." After watching him for a minute or two, I gathered that he had tried to take a dump and misjudged the location of a corn stalk that poked him right in the rear. He has been more cautious after that. Thank the Lord it was him and not me. | |
