The system we have at home will store months of video on it's hard drive. Meanwhile at church we would like for a person to be able to monitor entrances from their seat in the building via a device or screen.
Don't really anticipate much need to have live feed via the internet the rest of the time. Edit: we don't have a staffed facility, and don't have internet service there. Would cost in the neighborhood of $75 a month to get it set up. And could be done if we can't get it over the wifi if need be.
Even here at the house, when I use my phone to view the cameras, I am technically viewing them via the internet, not locally. There may be a way to see them directly, but I have not figured it out yet.
