Anyone use a "Brown weight valve" ?

no experience but sometime the float will not break loose and all that above water plumbing will be froze. My thoughts


That's the issue I have currently when the float freezes up and the cattle drink the tank down 8-12". Usually can just unthread the valve assembly from the base and it will start flowing again or a gallon of hot water at worst. I see the brown weight valve can be mounted under water similar to how I have my Ritchie's currently. I'm thinking the weight of the plastic brick would be enough to break the skim of ice. Or that's my hope at least.
