NW, Pennsylvania | I never heard of fluoride causing issues with gene expression, but it is linked with increased high blood pressure and several other cardiovascular illnesses. I work in a chemical "research" facility that specializes in fluoridated compounds. Essentially what happens is when the ion enters the blood stream it binds with calcium to form a insoluble compound which interferes with cardiorhythmn (lack of calcium) and your heart starts to pump harder/faster (blood thickening). Fluoride can be some nasty stuff since it can bioaccumulate in animals and humans. What the body does not need is a fluorospar slurry for blood. | |
