ESW ND | Go on TV and tell how much you need and really massage all the viewers egos/hearts. Put some kitty tears in your eyes too. That seems to open the pocket book well. Seems to work quite well for all the Swaggerts, Olsteins, and the multiple others. (spelling is wrong I'm sure)
I hate to say it but most churches are for show. They build them in competition to show up the other churches. With heated fountains, 3 story wasted empty space and the list goes on. I feel that that goes against the Word that is being taught. You can have service in an open field, under a tent or anywhere. Churches should NOT be tax exempt! Small town churches should not have to send the money to the "main" heads and then they give back what they feel is necessary. That's a crock to me. | |
