Subject: RE: Power chip and fuel consumption

McCanna, ND
If you add timing the fuel consumption will go down, however to much timing causes issues to. My dodge pickup would do 6mpgs pulling heavy and fast. Same load with a little added timing I got 9-10.

If your only running at 85 percent load I don’t know if a chip would save much fuel. If your running at 100% power or more and it’s doggy I think upping the power could be fine if you kept the ground speed the same upping the power and increasing ground speed to get up to 100% engine load after it’s turned up might get things a little to warm and/or cause other issues.
