Subject: Oxy/acetylene cutting, what's your pressure?

Some of you will remember me from an earlier post where I asked about doing saddle cuts to weld T's in pipe. In one of the videos suggested a guy who seems to be an experienced weldor, talks about setting his torch to 5 and 20 because of some reason regarding the pipe he's cutting. Do you vary the oxy and acetylene pressures according to what you are cutting, and is there a general rule of thumb for this?
