There's not enough time spent in the combine to heat the grain sufficiently, in our tower dryer sometimes the grain takes 30 min to an hour to go in the top of the dryer til it comes out bottom. When you think of the surface area of a radiator vs a dryer, the BTU difference is huge. I'll give you credit though, it's thinking outside the box!
