| Watching guys trying to cut real wet beans today. It occurs to me that our combines dump a large amount of heat. Machines today have 4 or 5 radiators - main coolant, intercooler, hydraulic and other oil coolers , AC condenser.
Question is is there enough heat there that you could make a significant drop in the grain moisture. I envision a mini continuous flow dryer passing all the air flow from the radiators through a column of grain. The top of the column would be fed by the clean grain elevator and the grain off the bottom of the unit would then be augered into the grain tank. Would it work? | |
