Subject: RE: Loading skid steer

central - east central Minnesota -

flinkster - 12/11/2018 20:54 We use our skid steer at few different places in the winter. We load it on tilt bed trailer to move it. But when it snows and trailer gets ice n snow on it can’t load it. Just slides back down. Anyone have idea on how to load that would be simple to do? We thought bout making ramps or putting something on trailer for traction. Just looking for different ideas. Not gonna buy another trailer, have enough of them.

Well, if none of the other ideas work or catch your fancy - simply screw some 1x2 or 1x4 across the deck. Remove in the spring. I personally don't like the wire/metal ideas - metal is slippery. The sand idea works as does poultry grit (#2 granite chips).
