In our herd of angus cross, we have one British white cow that keeps the same condition 365 days a year. She does bag up a little but never has an udder the size of the others. Her calves grow great. She surprised us the first two years we had her until we realized she doesn't get big when bred. I don't know if this is a breed thing or specific to her.
