You can buy any part new for a cj2a. You could build a brand new jeep if you wanted to.
I am doing the same thing with a 48 cj2a only mine will be a resto mod. Small block chevy with an automatic trans. It was originally done in the late 80's, restoring it the second time now only a little better.
