Was talking to a relative who works for a large Toyota dealership yesterday. Found out 2 things--don't buy a Nissan pickup with a Cummins, and if you buy a Hyundai, always use their engine oil filters. He says their sister dealership that sells Hyundais makes a fortune off warranty work related to engines that are starved for oil when the wrong-read not OEM-oil filter is used.

Sounds fishy that warranty would pay for an engine failure caused by a non-OEM filter that according to what is posted should easily be found to be an inadequate replacement for the real thing.
