Subject: RE: Hyundai Vehicles, good or bad?

Redickville, Ont
We had 2012 Santa Fe and overall it was pretty descent but we did a lot of fixing. Brake pads for one had flaw you had to grind pad holders little to give it more clearance otherwise they would stick. First set lasted 75000 km. Second set dealer put on and fronts where gone in 20000 km. I did breaks from them on and got along a lot better but just junk parts partly to blame. After that seem like parts wore out prematurely. Water pump, stabilizer bars couple others. Put $5000 into it in last year before we traded it this past Aug but had 225 000 km. They had this junk $10 oil pressure sensor go one day on Christmas that was real handy. Took $400 worth labour to get it tore down enough to get to the sensor. We did plugs while we had intake off. We replaced it with explorer. Car rode and drove well. Lots of power.
