Can always fix the paper duct with some cereal boxes inside out, paint outside black and make what works and then cover all inside and out with fiberglass kit, cloth and resin. It will be better than it ever was and not real hard to do. Thanks for telling me about old Ford site. That looks good to me. I didnt want to buy a used one cause get right back to where I am today. I already learned leaving the switch on for even 10-20 minutes can fry the coil. Didnt know that yesterday. Probably what happened to it 30 years ago or so.

Mine is a 52 Merc. Not sure on the raidator yet but I'll be checking it over. 
I got a quote last year from the guy on the Ford Barn about a coil for my 39 and he sent me this info plus a quote on the rebuild. Also does water pumps for the flatheads although I got mine through Napa.
