If it wouldnt be considered a hybrid what would it be considered? Would it not yield as good as the original hybrids that one originally used? Also would it not keep the original traits from the parents? Sorry its been almost 10 years since I have raised corn and it was only on a very small acreage and we usually do not see much corn in my area.

Just now getting back to this thread. Sorry that I gave you a quick response and didn’t go on to clarify. I should have mentioned that it would not be a hybrid that would yield the hybrid vigor because it would not come directly from the parent inbred lines.
