southern MN | I’ve felt like an outsider most of my life.
I don’t really fit in with those around me, farming and all I’m different.
Mostly I’m too small and too old fashioned.......
Few years ago I was pattern tiling a 40, after the previous years I had pattern tiled a lot of small dishes here and there in other fields. An older farmer drove in the field road and chatted with me for a bit, and then he wondered if I was caught up far enough with tiling by now? The way it was worded and expression was pretty clear he figured I was in over my head on what I was doing..... guess I was too big and progressive that day.....
Gotta put it out of your head and just work for yourself, not worry about ‘them.’
Boy I sure hear you tho, I’m not in step with the popular crowd, and it can weigh on a person some days.
