I was told pretty much the exact same thing as "cbellfarms" from my supplier and yes, he mentioned that the fertilizer company will do whatever puts the most money in their pockets. (if nitrogen prices are steady or softening, they charge storage....if they predict a higher spring price, they rip up contract.)
