nebraska | Just take some cardboard and make a template,, one for each side and one where the paddles sweep the corn up the back side,, when you get them to fit get some 1/8" steel and cut them out,, raise your wire welder up on your loader,, and weld them in,
The side ones cover where the paddles pull grain up next to the bearings on each side and the curved one you will bend to follow the curve the paddles wear on the grain side,, it doesn't have to be welded continuously, you don't cut out the old, just add another layer and it will be good for a few more years,,
If you have some stainless steel I would put that on the curved grain side where the grain is swept up past that the paddles follow,,
We still have the original elevator in our 9860 with 2500 sep hours,,I have a couple layers on it so far,, | |
